Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. on Thursday, May 22, 2025, at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service in Grenada for Mrs. Nancy Chambers, 64, of Tillatoba, who died on Tuesday, May 20, with her family by her side. Burial followed in Union Cemetery in Tillatoba. The family received friends one hour prior to the service on Thursday, May 22, at McKibben and Guinn.
Mrs. Chambers was born on Aug. 26, 1960, in Clarksdale, the daughter of the late Clarence Larry Barbian and the late Colleen Raines. She will be remembered for her love for her family, especially her grandchildren. She also loved to shop, cook and clean. She also enjoyed swimming.
In addition to her parents, one daughter, Kristy Jackson, and one sister, Lorie Christian of Ripley, preceded Mrs. Chambers in death.
Survivors include, her husband, Billy; one daughter, Victoria Chambers of Tippo; her brother, Larry Barbian of Cleveland; one sister, Donna Boxx of Tillatoba; two grandchildren, Anna Pullen and Amber Jackson and four great grandchildren, Bradley Franklin, Logan Brown, Joanna Pullen and Andrew Pullen.
Sam Pullen, Will Murphey, Gary Chambers, Scotty Chambers, Adam Chambers and Wayne Boxx served as pallbearers.
