A couple of days ago I watched the magnificent DC parade celebrating the 250th anniversary of the US army. It depicted the early days of the Revolutionary War; continuing through the battles of the Civil War; the World Wars I and II and so on. The outfits of the soldiers in each segment were meticulously displayed.
