Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. on Friday May 31, 2024, at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service in Grenada for Mrs. Maxie Lynn Spain Bullard, 53, of Grenada, who died on Monday, May 27, at her residence. Burial followed in Woodlawn Memorial Park. The Rev. Eugene Heimbach officiated. The family received friends from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Thursday evening, May 30, and one hour prior to the service on Friday, May 31, all at McKibben and Guinn.
Lynn was born on Sept. 16, 1970, in Greenwood, the daughter of Charles Ray Jr. and Virginia Standrod Spain. She was the office manager for A&A Recovery. She possessed a strong artistic talent and enjoyed painting in her free time. She also enjoyed playing pool. She and her husband had enjoyed participating in several billiards tournaments, most recently in Las Vegas, Nev. She was a loving wife, daughter, mother and grandmother, and will be missed for many years to come.
Her stepmother, Janet Spain, preceded Lynn in death.
Survivors include, her husband, Leslie Bullard; parents, Charles and Virginia Spain; two daughters, Valeri Geiger (Phillip) of Grenada and Lexi Jones of Laurel; three sons, A.J. Jones of Frankfort, Ken., Tyler Bullard of Ft. Worth, Texas, and Dawson Bullard of Greenwood and three grandchildren, Aubrey Hicks, Rowan Geiger and Carmen Geiger.
Scott Carpenter, Aaron Hoffman, Ben Luedtke, Andrew Maxey, Dustin Prigmore, Kenneth Procella, Wade Smith and Dennis Willis honored Lynn by serving as pallbearers and carried her to rest in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
