Funeral services will be held at noon on Saturday, April 8, 2023, at Abundant Life Assembly Church of the Apostolic Faith in Grenada for Mary Norwood, 85, of Grenada, who died on Friday, March 17, in Grenada. The Elder Frederick Mack will officiate. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until service time on Saturday, April 8, at the church.
Mary was born on Oct. 31, 1937, in Charleston, the daughter of the late James Driver and the late Pream Love-Driver. She was employed at the Country Kitchen as head cook for many years.
Survivors include, her son, Ken Norwood of Grenada; Denise Norwood-Mack of Bartlett, Tenn., and Mary Dunn of Grenada, and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
