It will be a full day of football for youngsters in Grades 4-6 with the annual Kirk Academy Pee Wee Football Jamboree slated this Saturday at Raider Field.
Schools scheduled to participate include Kirk, Winona Christian School, Carroll, Academy, Central Holmes Christian, Winston Academy, Indianola Academy, Presbyterian Day School of Cleveland, Washington School, Pillow Academy, Lee Academy of Clarksdale, Oak Hill and North Delta.
Kirk will have two teams take part in the jamboree as they have a total of 41 players.
The host Raiders open action in a B-team contest with Winona Christian at 7:30 a.m. At 8 a.m., the Kirk A-team plays Indianola Academy. The B-team Raiders will face Central Holmes Christian School at 9:30 a.m., followed by the A-team contest with Winston Academy.
Admission for the event will be $8 per person.
