In-person registration for students attending the Grenada School District will continue next week until the first day of school and officials are urging parents and guardians to prepare students ready for fall classes.
For face-to-face registration, parents can resume registering students at the GHS B Building from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. this Monday, Aug. 2.
“We need to get the registration completed because it helps the start of the year run much smoother,” GSD Superintendent David Daigneault said. “We are also hopeful that parents will be encouraging to their children by having meaningful conversations about the great opportunities that exist through this school district.”
Registration can also be completed online on the District’s website http://www.gsd.k12.ms.us/. Parents can register their children online no matter if they are a returning student or new to the District.
Registration staff is requiring that parents wear masks before entering the building. The first day of school is Thursday, Aug. 5.
