Funeral services will be held at noon on Saturday, Nov. 13, 2021, at Abundant Life Assembly for Sadie Mae Stewart, 68, of Grenada, formerly of Vicksburg, who died on Thursday, Nov. 4, in Grenada. Burial will follow in Haven Rest Cemetery. Pastor Willie Ed Collins will officiate.
Sadie was born on Dec. 13, 1952, in Fayette, the daughter of the late Clara Mae Davis and the late Calvin Reed Sr. She attended Rosa A. Temple High School and Alcorn College. She worked as a salesclerk and was also a Sunday school secretary.
Her husband, Albert Stewart Jr., preceded Sadie in death.
Survivors include, her stepdaughters, Betty Jean Thompson, Alice Faye Conley and Brenda Kale Stewart, all of Grenada; stepsons, Arthur Lee Stewart and Christopher Cole, both of Grenada; sis-ters, Fannie Prentiss of Vicksburg, China Hemphill and Jasmine Griffin, both of Grenada, and Jasmeca Griffin of Evergreen Park, Ill.; brothers, Calvin Reed Jr. of Meridian and Akeyno Griffin of Grenada and stepmother, Maude Reed-Griffin of Grenada.
Clark-Williams Funeral Home in Grenada is in charge of arrangements.
