Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 26, 2021, in Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery near Coila for Ethelyn Coriene Wiltshire, 83, of Black Hawk, who died on Tuesday, Nov. 23, in Greenwood. Visitation was held from 10 a.m. until service time at the cemetery. The Rev. Gary Tanner officiated.
Mrs. Wiltshire was born on Nov. 30, 1937, in Carroll County, the daughter of the late Tom and Lucille Acy Carpenter. She was a charter member of Black Hawk Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, brother, Nathan Carpenter, and a great grandchild preceded Mrs. Wiltshire in death.
Survivors include, her husband, Malcolm “Scoot” Wiltshire of Black Hawk; daughter, Quitta Earls (Roger) of Doddsville; sons, Mike Wiltshire (Cheryl) of Coila and Richie Wiltshire (Shari) of Black Hawk; two brothers, Bobby Carpenter (Charlotte) of Oxford and Marvin Carpenter of Vaiden; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
