A Celebration of Life Service will be held from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 30, 2021, at the home of Charles Edward Harmon, 80, of Carrollton, who died of natural causes on Tuesday, Oct. 26, at his residence.
Chock was born on Aug. 27, 1941, in Cumberland. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a retired diesel mechanic. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed fishing and camping with family.
His parents, Raymond Harmon Sr. and Frances Denney Harmon; one brother, Raymond Harmon Jr.; one sister, Helen Hamilton, and brother-in-law, Charles Carroll, preceded Chock in death.
Survivors include, his children, Roxane Harmon of Carrolton, Destry Harmon (Renee) of Memphis, Tenn., and Fran Harmon of Mobile, Ala.; two brothers, Carlton Ray Harmon (Diane) of Gulfport and Dewey Barnett (Kathy) of Dallas, Texas; two sisters, Mary Carroll (Charles) of Carrolton and Lou Wood (Donald) of Clarksdale; brother-in-law, Bobby Hamilton; sister-in-law, Nell Harmon Fowler; 10 grandchildren, Addison Jaco (Caroline) of O’Fallon, Mo., Addaire Henson (Jeremy) of Alexa, Ark., Destry Harmon of Memphis, Tenn., Courtney Harmon (Mike) of St. Charles, Mo., Chris Harmon (Lizzie) of Cordova, Tenn., Brent Love of Carrolton, Brittani Gorrell (Jonathan) of Sumner, David Bramlett Jr. (Gina) of Foley, Mo., and Sarah Gorrell and Hannah Gorrell, both of Mobile, Ala., and 11 great grandchildren.
