With temperatures expected to hover in the mid-20s throughout the day on Tuesday, Jan. 16, and dip to single digits tonight, business and school closures for Wednesday, Jan. 17, are beginning to be announced due to concerns that roads and bridges will remain iced over or will refreeze.
Closures are as follows:
Wednesday, Jan. 17
• Grenada School District
• Kirk Academy
• All Holmes Community College campuses. Classes will not meet, however, students should check their email and Canvas for assignments. HCC staff will be working virtually.
• Miss Mary's Little Learners
• Grenada County Courthouse
• The Grenada Star Office
