Funeral services will be held at noon on Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2022, at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church for Rodger Dale Sturgis Jr., 53, who died on Monday, Jan. 10, in Tupelo. Burial will follow in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. The Rev. Marty Evans will conduct. Visitation is from 10 a.m. until service time on Wednesday, Jan. 12, at the church.
Dale was born on March 28, 1968, in Charleston, the son of the late Rodger Dale Sturgis Sr. and Carol Sturgis.
Survivors include, his sons, Josh Sturgis of Enid and Steven Sturgis (Cale) of Holcomb; daughter, Adrienne Hill (Michael) of Scobey; sisters, Lisa Lane (Charles) and Jessica Strider (William), brother, Greg Sturgis (Melissa); three grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
