Lenore Caldwell and Ben Blair of Grenada announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Mary Caitlin Blair, to Jerry Austin Simmons, son of Lynn Simmons Rocha of Grenada and Donnie Simmons of Charleston.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mrs. Mary Nan Caldwell and Mr. Ronnie Caldwell and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Blair of Grenada.
She is a graduate of Grenada High School and a graduate of Holmes Jr. College where she received an Associates Degree. She is currently attending MS Delta Community College where she is pursuing an associates degree in physical therapy.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Yates of Winona and Mrs. Brenda Rodgers of Pascagoula and the late Douglas and Lillie Simmons of Charleston.
He is a graduate of Grenada High School and a graduate of Holmes Jr. College where he received an associates degree. He is currently a diesel mechanic for Stribling Equipment in Winona.
Wedding vows will be exchanged at 6 p.m. on July 31, 2021 in Oakland. Brother John Goldwater will officiate the ceremony.
A reception will follow after the ceremony.
