Have you ever read the Chapters 25-26 of Exodus?
God is telling Moses how He wants them to build and furnish the tabernacle.
“And blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen, and goats’ hair, and rams’ skins dyed red, and porpoise skins, and shittim wood, oil for the light, spices for anointing oil, and for sweet incense, onyx stones, and stones to be set in the ephod, and in the breastplate. And let them make me a sanctuary; that I may dwell among them. According to all that I shew thee, after the pattern of the tabernacle, and the pattern of all the instruments thereof, even so shall ye make it.
The Lord told them how many curtains, how long, what color, how many loops, the length , what kind of wood, how the mercy seat should be, and so much more read this sometime, very interesting, very detailed.
God told us what He wants from us today. He had it written down for us to read, we need to understand that what is written by the apostles, was inspired by God.
2 Timothy 3:16-17 all scripture is given by inspiration. 1 Corinthians 13:37 Paul says what he is teaching is from the Holy Spirit.
In this age we are commanded to sing, Ephesians 5:19, Colossians 3:16. This is all, God told us what He wanted, we have examples in the New Testament of those obeying that command. Matthew 26:30, Acts 16:25, Romans 15:9, 1 Corinthians 14:15, Hebrews 2:12.
All should sing, Colossians 3:16 they knew all should sing congregational, not solos, not choir groups but all. Why can we just do what God says instead of what man says?
