Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Friday, April 12, 2024, at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service in Grenada for Mrs. Laurie D’Ann Jarrett Alldread, 59, of Mobile, Ala., who died on Sunday, April 7, in Mobile, Ala. Burial followed in Calvary Cemetery in Carroll County. The Rev. Jerry McNeer officiated. Family and friends gathered from 1 p.m. until service time on Friday, April 12, at McKibben and Guinn.
Laurie was born on Oct. 6, 1964, in Mobile, Ala. She enjoyed a very successful career in human resources as she worked in jobs all over the world while her husband, Michael, served our country in the United States military. Once they settled back stateside, she began a career in the home mortgage industry and continued that as long as her health allowed. She enjoyed cross stitching, making ceramics and shopping in her spare time.
Her parents, Ernest and Emogene Jarrett, and her sister, Pamela Jarrett, preceded Laurie in death.
Survivors include, her husband, Michael T. Alldread; daughter, Arleigh Alldread; son, Jarrett S. Alldread, and brother, Michael Jarrett (Debbie) of Orange Beach, Ala.
Tim Alldread, Will Baker, Jerry Brown, Ray Burkhalter, Bobby Garrison and Nick Smith served as pallbearers.
