A graveside service was held at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 25, 2025, in Vaiden Cemetery for Mr. Kirk Anthony Welch, 68, of Winona, formerly of Vaiden, who died on Monday, July 21, at his residence. The Rev. Jimmy Brooks officiated.
Mr. Welch was born on June 16, 1957, the son of the late Wallace and the late Bonnie McWhorter Welch. He was a member of Vaiden Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, one sister, Beth Welch Wiggins, preceded Mr. Welch in death.
Survivors include, his wife, Myra Johnston Welch of Winona; daughter, Rhyan Welch Nixon (Stephen) of Winona; son, Chase Welch (Bree) of Water Valley; one sister, Jill Welch Yates (Jerry) of Winona; brothers, Bruce Welch of Winona, Keith Welch of Jackson and Scott Welch (Stephanie) of Grenada; two grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
