Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, April 14, 2024, in the Oliver Funeral Home Chapel in Winona for Kenneth Neal King, 99, of Winona, who died on Monday, April 8, in Vaiden. Burial followed in Winona Garden of Memory in Winona. The Rev. Jay Anderson officiated. Visitation was held from 1 p.m. until service time on Sunday, April 14, at the funeral home.
Mr. King was born on March 13, 1925, in Winona, the son of the late Emmitt and the late Myrtis Bond King. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Winona. He was a veteran of the United States Navy.
In addition to his parents, his wife, Mary Frances Bartlett King, and nine brothers and sisters, preceded Mr. King in death.
Survivors include, his son, Ken King (Melissa) of Winona; two grandchildren; four great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be directed to First Baptist Church of Winona, P.O. Box 408, Winona, MS 38967.
