Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 15, 2022, in Elliott Baptist Church Cemetery in Elliott for John Edward “Johnny” Flanagan, 60, of Grenada, who died on Monday, Sept. 12, at his residence.
Johnny was born on June 19, 1962, the son of the late Roy and Clara Marie Flanagan. He worked as a diesel mechanic and truck driver.
In addition to his parents, one sister, Wanda Mayhan, preceded Johnny in death.
Survivors include, his daughter, Mandy “Leann” Flanagan; son, John “Bubba” Flanagan; two sisters, Helen Chamblee and her husband, Johnny, and Joann Read and her husband, Keven; brother, Roy “Marty” Flanagan and three grandchildren, Braylon Bankston, Ariyanna Letson and Cameron Letson, all of Grenada.
