A graveside service was held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2025, in Providence Baptist Church Cemetery for Mr. Jack McKenzie “Hambone” Richardson, 93, of Gore Springs, who died on Sunday, Nov. 2, at his residence. Dr. Joey Faulk officiated.
Jack was born on July 12, 1932, in Grenada County, the son of the late Lee and the late June Waugh Richardson. He worked in the restaurant business for many years and honorably served our country in the United States Army. He was a member of Providence Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, his sister, Theda, and brothers, Walter, Olan, Lee, Frank and Eugene, preceded Jack in death.
Survivors include, his wife, Pat Richardson; his daughter, Leigh Richardson Tillman (Gary); two sons, Mike Richardson and John Richardson; eight grandchildren, Lane Tillman, Garrett Tillman, Lauren Tillman Russell, Jason Richardson, Jessica Richardson, Carpenter Richardson, Hunter Richardson and Sallie Richardson, and 11 great grandchildren.
