Family and friends gathered at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2025, in the chapel of McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service in Grenada to celebrate the remarkable life of Gloria Gilbreth, 84, who died peacefully on Wednesday, Oct. 8, surrounded by her family. The family received friends beginning at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 15, at McKibben and Guinn.
Gloria was born on Jan. 16, 1941. Known for her warmth, wit and spirited personality, Gloria brought joy and laughter to all who knew her. Her quick humor, grace and endearing charm made her a beloved grandmother, mother, sister and friend.
Her husband, Russell Gilbreth, and her children, Debra VanLuven Windham and Curtis VanLuven, preceded Gloria in death.
Survivors include her grandson, Adam Windham (Candi); granddaughter, Veronica McNabb; son-in-law, Paul Windham (Gwen); great grandchildren, Cadin Windham, Jacob McNabb and Callie McNabb; her sister, Sharon Wortman, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Gloria’s family cherishes the memories of her love, laughter and unique spirit. She will be remembered as a woman of both class and sass, whose presence enriched the lives of everyone around her.
