Graveside services were held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 16, 2025, in Evergreen Cemetery in North Carrollton for Gerald Stephen “Jerry” Stanford, 83, of Carrollton, who died on Thursday, Nov. 13, 2025, in Winona following several weeks of illness. The Rev. Mike Allday officiated. Following the service, the family hosted visitation at the Fellowship House of Carrollton Presbyterian Church.
His parents, Barbara and Maxwell Stanford, and brothers, James Maxwell Stanford Jr. and Harmon E. Stanford Sr., preceded Mr. Stanford in death.
Survivors include, his wife, Judy Mitchell Stanford; two daughters, Amanda Noah (Scott) of McCarley and Betsy Hill (Roy) of Ralph, Ala.; his son, Casey Stanford (Beverly) of Rosedale; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be directed to Evergreen Cemetery Association, P.O. Box 425, N. Carrollton, MS 38947.
