With all 13 of Grenada County’s ballot boxes counted, unofficial General Election results show that 63.04 percent of citizens that cast ballots favored Republican incumbent Donald Trump over Democratic challenger Joe Biden for United States President.
A total of 4,889 ballots were cast in favor of Trump, while 2,866 or 36.95 percent voted for Biden.
Following a mid-ballot box count lead locally, Democrat Mike Espy (3,145 votes) was defeated by Republican Cindy Hyde-Smith (4,531 votes) in the U.S. Senate race, while Republican Brian Flowers (4,499 votes) pulled back ahead of Democrat Bennie Thompson (3,098 votes) in the U.S. House of Representative’s race.
Grenadian’s voted heavily in favor of the State of Mississippi’s new flag design with 5,464 voting in favor of the design. A total of 2,220 cast no votes.
All 13 precincts include, Southside Church of Christ, Elliott Volunteer Fire Department, Sweethome-Holcomb Fire Department, Grenada County Office Building, Futheyville, City Auditorium, Young's Water and Sewer, Pleasant Grove, Taylor Hall, Geeslin Corner, Holcomb Community Center, EOC/Van Dorn and Gore Springs.

Early in the night, enough votes had been counted statewide for the Associated Press to call Mississippi for President Donald Trump.
The county votes are unofficial with absentee ballots still being counted.
