Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2025, at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service in Grenada for Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Hitt Beach, 70, of Grenada, who died on Sunday, Sept. 14, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Burial followed in Woodlawn Cemetery in Grenada. The Rev. Tim McCaffrey and the Rev. Tim Lane officiated.
Elizabeth was born on July 20, 1955, in Grenada, the daughter of the late William Howard Hitt and the late Nannie Nelms Hitt. A devoted homemaker, Elizabeth went above and beyond to do everything she could to make her house a home.
Elizabeth was a faithful member of Friendship Baptist Church where she was active in many of the ladies’ activities in the church and the JOY Sunday school class. A wonderful wife, a loving mother and a doting grandmother, Elizabeth embodied the essence of the Proverbs 31 woman. While her death leaves a hole in the hearts of those she loved, we find comfort in knowing she held in her soul the cure to death – a relationship with Jesus Christ.
In addition to her parents, her sister, Mary Parker, and a son-in-law, Gene Dulin, preceded Elizabeth in death.
Survivors include, her husband of 51 years, Kenny Beach; daughter, Angela Beach Dulin of Grenada; son, Daniel Beach (Audrey) of Grenada and four grandchildren, Tyler Dulin, Damon Dulin, Alaina Beach and Nathan Beach.
Jeremy Avery, Justin Avery, Aubrey Beach, Austin Beach, Zach Lane and Craig Parker honored Elizabeth by serving as pallbearers and carried her to rest in the Woodlawn Cemetery.
