Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 21, 2024, at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service in Grenada for Mr. David Lewis Lancaster, 55, of Duck Hill, who died on Wednesday, June 19, in Grenada. Burial followed in Elliott Baptist Church Cemetery. The family received friends from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Thursday evening, June 20, and one hour prior to the service on Friday, June 21, all at McKibben and Guinn.
Dave was born on Sept. 12, 1968, in Winona, the son of Eugene and Glenda Vance Lancaster. He was a former lab tech at Modine. He enjoyed working on cars and was a Jack of all trades.
Survivors include, his daughter, Anna Catherine Easterling (Morgan) of Grenada; son, Parker Lancaster (Anna) of Grenada; his parents, Eugene and Glenda Lancaster of Duck Hill; brother, Jeff Lancaster (Angie) of Duck Hill; three grandchildren; Noah Harbin, Holden Lancaster and Rogan Easterling and his dog, Mia.
Pallbearers were Bill Ashmore, Robert Barnette, Scott Caulder, Oliver Dixon, Robby Isonhood, Chase Lancaster, Cody Lancaster and Brandon Vance.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be directed to the Elliott Cemetery Fund.
