Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at Poplar Creek Nations Baptist Church in Kilmichael for Angela Kay Love, 64, of Kilmichael, who died on Tuesday, June 18, in Batesville. Burial followed in the church cemetery. The Rev. Randy Bridges officiated.
Angela was born on Nov. 20, 1959.
Her parents, James Otis Fancher and Ridge Daves, the man who raised her, alongside her mother, Bertie Quick Fancher Daves; one sister, LaVerne Thomas, and two brothers, Kenneth Daves and Joe Wayne Fancher, preceded Angela in death.
Survivors include, her husband, Bobby Love of Kilmichael; daughters, Amanda Villasenor of Eupora and Kerri Love of Cleveland; sons, Mikie Love of Kilmichael, Bobby Love of Eupora and Chris Dewberry of Ft. Worth, Texas; three sisters, Judy Haley of Elliot, Louise Hopper of Thomaston, Ga., and Thelma Holderfield of Plano, Texas; one brother, Carl Daves of Black Hawk; 16 grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
