The Grenada County Sheriff’s Office apprehended a pair of out-of-state fugitives in the Holcomb area earlier this month. The arrests brings the total to six outlaws captured in the county over the past couple of weeks.
Deputies answered a disturbance on Sparta Road in Holcomb on Nov. 6. After arriving on the scene, identification checks revealed that the subjects were wanted in different states.
“We appreciate the hard work and dedication of our deputies on picking up these individuals,” Sheriff Rolando Fair said. “Our guys are proactive trying to reduce crime and violence in the community.”
Fair also complimented members of the community for their help by giving the sheriff’s office tips that aided them in the arrests of these individuals.
“We give thanks to members of the community who keep us abreast of what is going on around them,” he said. “It takes the work of all of us to keep the community safe.”
Gigi Fowler, a 46-year-old white female from Missouri, was one of the two arrested on a probation violation. Jason Woods, a 51-year-old white male from Arkansas, was also arrested later that day on a parole violation. Both subjects are currently in the Grenada County jail awaiting extradition to the states that issued the warrants. They join four other individuals from out-of-state that were also arrested recently on outstanding charges.
Anthony La’Tray Williams, 24, was arrested following a traffic stop in Grenada. Williams is wanted for robbery out of Indiana. He also faces local charges on felony weapons and possession of a controlled substance. Williams is currently in the Grenada County Jail.
Reynaldo Garcia, 37, was arrested by Grenada County deputies following a tip. He is wanted on charges for aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon out of Texas. Garcia has since been extradited to Texas.
Denario Keyrell Williams, 34, was picked up on a tip an aggravated assault charge causing bodily injury out of Texas. Williams has been picked up by Texas authorities.
Walter Howard German, 35, was picked on a tip and found to be facing charges for possession of a controlled substance and parole violation out of California.
