A Grenada man is behind bars today following a search warrant that netted an assortment of drugs, a firearm and a large sum of cash Wednesday within the city limits.
According to Grenada Police Department Chief George Douglas, 41-year-old Eric Conley of Grenada was booked in the Grenada County Jail where he remains with no bond after the GPD with assistance from the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics initiated the search warrant in the 1000 block of Adams Street.
“The results of the search warrant revealed the discovery of more than 3,000 dosage units of fentanyl, approximately 10 grams of cocaine, approximately one pound of marijuana, a Glock 9 mm handgun and approximately $10,000 in cash money,” Chief Douglas said.

Conley was charged with aggravated trafficking of a controlled substance. GPD Sergeant Wilburn within the department’s investigation division initiated the investigation.
The case remains under investigation.
