A free pop-up clinic, hosted by the Mississippi State Department of Health, will offer free COVID–19 vaccinations at Carroll County’s biggest festival this Saturday.
The MSDH will host the clinic on Saturday, Oct. 2, during Pioneer Day in Carrollton. According to Carrollton Mayor Pam Lee, the clinic is open to the public. It will be located on Green Street behind the Carroll County Courthouse.
According to the MSDH, anyone 12-years-old and older is eligible for the vaccination, which will offer the Pfizer and Moderna two-dose vaccine and the Johnson & Johnson single dose. The department said no documentation or identification will be required and the second doses will be scheduled three weeks later.
The pop-up clinic will be open to the public from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
