Mrs. Susan C. Ashcraft and the late Mr. John D. Ashcraft III of Greenwood joyously announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Janie Elizabeth Hardin Ashcraft, to Robert Bruce Johnson, son of Mrs. Edna Lynn G. Johnson and the late Mr. Robert M. Johnson of Fulton.
Miss Ashcraft is the commercial lending operations manager for Alabama One Credit Union in Tuscaloosa, Ala., and resides in Columbus. She is also obtaining her master’s degree in licensed professional counseling. Miss Ashcraft will complete her courses in 2023, before beginning clinical training.
Mr. Johnson owns Boardtown Locksmith and Columbus Lock and Key, and also resides in Columbus. Mr. Johnson is the proud father to Camryn Grace Johnson and Sophia Leigh Johnson, both of Caledonia, who will be serving as groomsladies for the special occasion.
The remaining members of the groom’s party are his sisters, Amy Whatley and Vonda Sheffield, both of Tupelo. Mr. Johnson’s best man is Cameron Allsup of Columbus. The bridesmaids are the bride’s cousins, Dr. Jennifer Main of Oxford; Mary Kimbrough Brewer of Roswell, Ga.; Amanda Goodwin of Olive Branch and Olivia Ashcraft of Huntsville, Ala. The bride’s matron of honor is Crystal Breckenridge of Columbus. The bride’s wedding coordinator is Jennifer Edwards of Bartlett, Tenn. Honorary bridal party members are Katie Lawrence of Columbus and Caitlin Baker of Ethelsville, Ala.
The couple is planning a double-ring ceremony at Pierce Castle on May 6, 2023.
