Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 24, 2025, at Winona Church of God for Angelia Lanell Green Britton, 61, of Kilmichael, who died on Tuesday, Oct. 21, at her residence surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer. Burial followed in Community Full Gospel Church Cemetery in the Shady Grove community of Attala County. The Rev. Danny Rosamond and the Rev. Eddie Dodd officiated. Visitation was held from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 23, and from 1 p.m. until service time on Friday, Oct. 24, at the church.
Angelia — known as Angie — was born on June 23, 1964, in Winona, the daughter of the late Rev. James A. Green and Robbie Nell Dees Green.
Survivors include, her mother, Robbie of Kilmichael; sister, Janie of Kilmichael; brother, Brad (Julie) of Kilmichael; husband of 43 years, Kenny of Kilmichael; three children, Kent (Kim) of Naples, Fla., Steven of Kilmichael and Chasity McDaniel (Tom) of French Camp; two grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be directed to Community Full Gospel Church through the Bank of Kilmichael.
