A Time of Remembrance will be held from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Thursday, March 20, 2025, at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service in Grenada for Mr. William S. “Steve” Sykes, 70, of Grenada, who died on Saturday, March 8, in Grenada.
Steve was born on Feb. 18, 1955, the son of the late William R. “Bobby” Sykes and the late Claudine Sykes.
In addition to his parents, one brother, Gary Sykes, preceded Steve in death.
Survivors include, his wife, Patricia “Clarice” Weir Sykes; four sons, William “Bill” Sykes (Carmen), Dan Sykes (Melissa), Thomas D. Sykes and Kevin R. Sykes; stepson, Louis D. Correro (Tiffany); stepdaughter, Patricia Correro Armstrong (Ricky); grandchildren, Dylan Sykes, Ethan Sykes, Legend Clark, Marjorie Clark, Dallas Clark, Chase Sykes, Lainey Sykes, Jeffery Correro, Ella Correro, Layla Correro and Dalton Hicks; one brother, Ronnie Sykes (Ann) and his sister, Teresa Moore (George).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be directed to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Any flowers received will be delivered to the Sykes home.
