Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 24, 2025, at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service in Grenada for Mr. Wallace Lee, 86, of Grenada, who peacefully passed away on Friday, Feb. 21, at his residence. Burial followed in Goshen Cemetery near Coffeeville. The Rev. Harvey Vance officiated. The family received friends from 1 p.m. until service time on Monday, Feb. 24, at McKibben and Guinn.
Wallace was born on Sept. 20, 1938, in Tennessee, the son of the late O.D. and the late Minnie Bell Fletcher Lee. He was a longtime employee of Rockwell/Randall Textron and a member of Airport Baptist Church. Wallace never met a stranger and his jovial personality allowed him to make friends with anyone he met.
In addition to his parents, his wife, Jane Lee, and his siblings, preceded Wallace in death.
Survivors include, two sons, David Lee (Melissa) of Millington, Tenn., and Mike Lee (Robin) of Murfreesboro, Tenn., and three grandchildren, Nicolas Armstrong Lee, Michael Pate Lee and Allyson Ayers Lee.
Johnny Allen, Stephen Crenshaw, Darryl Grantham, Billy L. James, Jason Meredith and Mark West honored Wallace by serving as pallbearers and carried him to rest in Goshen Cemetery.
