MSDH reducing daily COVID-19 data reports

Due to the recent decline in COVID-19 activity in the State of Mississippi, the Mississippi State Department of Health (MSDH) announced earlier this week that it is reducing the COVID-19 data it issues daily. These changes include fewer demographic charts and less frequent updates to a number of daily charts and reports.

Gas prices continue to climb, rise 4 cents in week

Mississippi gas prices have risen 4.0 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $3.18/g today, according to GasBuddy’s daily survey of 2,014 stations in Mississippi. Gas prices in Mississippi are 23.0 cents per gallon higher than a month ago and stand 92.7 cents per gallon higher than a year ago.

Average gasoline prices in Mississippi have risen 7.5 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.05/g today, according to GasBuddy’s survey of 2,014 stations in Mississippi. Prices in Mississippi are 13.3 cents per gallon higher than a month ago and stand 92.9 cents per gallon higher than a year ago.
