Mississippi fuel prices up 4.2 cents in last week

Average gasoline prices in Mississippi have risen 4.2 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $2.99/g today, according to GasBuddy’s survey of 2,014 stations in Mississippi. Prices in Mississippi are 5.2 cents per gallon higher than a month ago and stand 146.8 cents per gallon lower than a year ago.

Grenada's Habig one of 10 ag pilots certified at DSU

The first 10 students, including Grenada’s Jacob Habig, from the Commercial Aviation Department at Delta State University to graduate with an Agricultural Aviation Operations Career Pathway Certification were recognized during a ceremony on Friday, June 2, in the DSU airport hangar at the Cleveland Municipal Airport.

All activities are free and open to the public. Juneteenth is the oldest known celebration of the ending of slavery in the United States.
