Raiderettes begin North AAAA Tournament today

The Kirk Academy Raiderettes will be in Batesville today, Wednesday, Feb. 9, to open play in the Midsouth Association of Independent Schools North AAAA Tournament hosted by North Delta School. Kirk opens play in the eight-team affair against Indianola at 5:15 p.m.

Raiderettes compete in Class AAAA, District 1 Tournament Saturday

The second season for area high school basketball teams was scheduled to have tipped off Friday night for the Kirk Academy Raiderettes at the Class AAAA, District 1 Tournament hosted by Rossville Academy in Rossville, Tenn. Inclement weather forced tournament action to be pushed back a day.

Chargers, Lady Chargers play Tuesday in Class 6A, Region 1 Tournament

February Madness will begin for Grenada High School basketball teams early next week as they travel to Tupelo for the Class 6A, Region 1 Tournament. To keep their seasons alive, both the Chargers and Lady Chargers need to win just one of two games played.
