Kirk Academy's Vance inks soccer scholarship

Kirk Academy senior soccer player Skyler Vance signed a soccer scholarship with Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College in Perkinston Thursday morning at the school.

Vance was joined by family, friends, Kirk Academy head soccer coach Chris Wilkinson and teammates during the signing.

Exchange Club holds annual golf tourney

The annual Grenada Exchange Club Golf Tournament took place last Saturday at Dogwoods Golf Course. A total of 31 golfers took part in the scramble format event to raise money for child abuse. When the day was over, the Sparklight Business team of Eric Hanks, Nick Liberto, Paul Liberto and Paul Shirley won the event with a score of 57.
