There is a new sheriff in town.

Voters let their voices be heard during last Tuesday’s General Election and elected veteran lawman Garrett Hartley as the new top cop in Grenada County. The Republican challenger garnered 615 more votes than Democratic incumbent Rolando Fair to earn the sheriff’s badge.
