SUBSTITUTE TRUSTEE’S
NOTICE OF FORECLOSURE SALE
WHEREAS, on August 17, 2017, Mildred W. Green executed a certain Deed of Trust to Paige L. Purvis, Trustee for the use and benefit of Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems, Inc., as Beneficiary, as nominee for First Bank, its successors and assigns which Deed of Trust is of record in the office of the Chancery Clerk of Grenada County, Mississippi, on September 6, 2017, in Book 2017, Page 9157-9173.
WHEREAS, Carrington Mortgage Services LLC, the current holder and/or assignee, substituted Halliday, Watkins & Mann, P.C. as Trustee by instrument recorded in the Chancery Clerk’s Office on April 21, 2025 in Book 2025, in Page 46-47; and
WHEREAS, Default having been made in the terms and conditions of said deed of trust and the entire debt secured thereby having been declared to be due and payable in accordance with the terms of said deed of trust, Carrington Mortgage Services LLC, the legal holder of said indebtedness, having requested the undersigned Substitute Trustee in said deed of trust, will on June 18, 2025 offer for sale at public outcry and sell within legal hours (being between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.), at the main front door of the County Courthouse of Grenada County in Grenada, Mississippi, to the highest and best bidder for cash the following described property situated in Grenada County, Mississippi, to wit:
Lot 16, Eastern Heights Subdivision, a subdivision according to a map or plat thereof which is on file and of record in the Office of the Chancery Clerk of Grenada County, at Grenada, Mississippi, in Plat Book 3 at Page 9, reference to which is hereby made in aid of and as a part of this description. Said lot being a part of the Northwest Quarter of Section 5, Township 22 North, Range 5 East
More commonly known as: 131 Lyon Drive, Grenada, MS 38901
I will convey only such title as vested in me as Substituted Trustee.
