SUBSTITUTED TRUSTEE’S NOTICE OF SALE
WHEREAS, on June 9, 2011, Brandon V. Hughes and Lindsey Hughes executed a Deed of Trust to J. Patrick Caldwell, Trustee for the benefit of BancorpSouth Bank, now Cadence Bank, which is recorded in Book 2011 at Page 4109 and re-recorded in Book 2011 at Page 4373 in the office of the Chancery Clerk of Grenada County, Mississippi; and
WHEREAS, Underwood Law Firm PLLC has been substituted as Trustee under the Deed of Trust; and
WHEREAS, default has been made in the terms and conditions of the Deed of Trust and the entire debt secured thereby has been declared due and payable in accordance with the terms of the Deed of Trust, and the legal holder of the indebtedness secured thereby, Cadence Bank, has requested the undersigned Substituted Trustee to execute the trust and sell the property in accordance with the terms of the Deed of Trust for the purpose of raising the sums due thereunder together with attorney’s fees, Substituted Trustee’s fees, and expenses of sale.
NOW, THEREFORE, Underwood Law Firm PLLC, as Substituted Trustee under the Deed of Trust, will on May 7, 2025 offer for sale at public outcry to the highest bidder for cash within legal hours (between 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.) at the east door of the Grenada County Courthouse in Grenada, Mississippi, the following described property together with all improvements thereon situated in Grenada County, Mississippi, being the same property described in the Deed of Trust:
Lot 72 McCain Estates Subdivision according to a map or plat thereof on file and of record in the office of the Chancery Clerk of Grenada County, Mississippi in Plat Book 3, of Page 2, reference to which is hereby made in aid of and as a part of this description.
UNDERWOOD LAW FIRM PLLC will convey only such title as is vested in it as Substituted Trustee.
