GHS basketball teams prep for Class 6A, Region 2 play

The second half of the 2021-22 basketball season for the Grenada Chargers and Lady Chargers begins on Jan. 4, with a trip to Class 3A power North Panola. An even bigger contest is slated for Jan. 7 with a trip to Lafayette County to face new division opponent Oxford.

Winter Half Marathon Classic returns

The Winter Half Marathon Classic returns to Grenada for the second straight year with a different twist.

The new course this year now starts downtown at the Square, flat out and back course takes you to the lake passing the Lee Tart Nature Preserve along the way.
