Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 6, 2025, at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service in Grenada for Mr. Sidney Wayne Cole, 66, of Grenada, who died on Thursday, April 3, in Grenada. Bro. Wayne Cupit and his brother, Bro. Reuben Cole, officiated. The family received friends from 1 p.m. until service time on Sunday, April 6, at McKibben and Guinn.
Sidney was born on March 19, 1959, in Grenada, the son of Chester William and Catherine Hendricks Cole. He worked in construction in his early years and retired as a truck driver. He also honorably served in the Mississippi Army National Guard. In his spare time, he enjoyed gardening and fishing.
His parents preceded Sidney in death.
Survivors include, his son, Josh Allbritton (Melissa) of Cascilla; sister, Carolyn Keith (Kevin Gagnon) of Pontotoc; brother, Reuben Cole (Edna) of Grenada and one granddaughter, Robbin Allbritton.
Dody Allbritton, Cody Cole, Kevin Gagnon, Marc Hayward, Sidney Hendricks and Ernest Skeen served as honorary pallbearers.
