Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 30, 2021, in Woodlawn Memorial Park for Mrs. Ruth Ann Crawford, 85, of Grenada, who died on Thursday,
Jan. 28, in Grenada.
Ruth Ann was born on Jan. 30, 1935, in Webster County. She retired after working many years as the office manager at Commercial Credit. She was a devoted member of First United Methodist Church Grenada where she served in the nursery for more than 50 years, the choir for more than 30 years, the United Methodist Women and was a circle leader. She used her talent as a wonderful cook to minister to many during her life. We find comfort in knowing that her faith is now sight and she has met her Savior face to face.
Her mother, Hazel Allday Staten; father, Arlis Sprabery and a brother-in-law, Robert Shaw, preceded Ruth Ann in death.
Survivors include, her husband of 67 years, James “Jib” Crawford; daughter, Leslie Crawford Howell (Dalton) of Potts Camp; sons, David Crawford (Debbie) of Fulshear, Texas, and Scott Crawford (Michelle) of Grenada; sister, Jean Shaw of Grenada; seven grandchildren, Kris Crawford, Lindsay Stafford, Jake Howell, Evan Howell, Nick Lee, Phillip Crawford and David Crawford and two great grandchildren, Lleyton Crawford and Beckham Crawford.
Pallbearers were David Crawford, Kris Crawford, Phillip Crawford, Evan Howell, Nick Lee, Jonnie Moore and Zack Stafford.
