One of the greatest lessons we can ever learn from the gospel.
Luke 8:11. Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.
This is what Jesus told his disciples when he told the parable of the sower, in my onion its one of the greatest of the parables told by the Lord.
It is so complex. This verse alone, let’s look at it.
And let’s look back to the beginning of time, the creation.
Genesis 1:11-12. Then God said, “Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb that yields seed, and the fruit tree that yields fruit according to its kind, whose seed is in itself, on the earth, and it was so.”
And the earth brought forth grass, the herb that yields seed according to its kind, and the tree that yields fruit, whose seed is according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.”
How does this apply to the parable of the sower?
The bible is so deep, so wonderful.
God created the seed and from the seed it would produce after its kind, grass seed brings forth grass, watermelon seed brings forth watermelon, pumpkin seed brings forth pumpkin, the seed from a human brings forth another human, the seed from a tiger brings forth a tiger.
You plant a watermelon seed; you will never get a pumpkin.
God set this into motion in the beginning.
The word of God is the seed, wow according to the law God set into place when you plant a certain seed it will only produce after its kind.
Isn’t that interesting?
Con collusion, when you plant the seed, the gospel of Jesus Christ, all you will ever get is a Christian, nothing else - no prefix Christian, no denomination.
The seed only produces Christians in order to have a denomination you must use something besides God’s word. Something beside the seed.
