A Special-Called City of Grenada Council Meeting scheduled for Monday was canceled three and a half hours before its scheduled 6 p.m. start time for what officials have stated as a “lack of quorum.”
Items on the agenda for the meeting included:
• Approval of water rate increase
• Approval of garbage rate increase
In Executive Session, the following items were planned to be discussed:
• Approval of Leasing Agreement for the GAP recreational center
• Personnel – Community Service Director
• Personnel – General Administration
As of 5 p.m. Monday, the meeting had not been rescheduled.
