Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 5, 2026, at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service in Grenada for Mrs. Peggy Dianne McMillon Moorman, 76, of Grenada, who died on Friday, Jan. 30, in Grenada. Burial followed in Smith Cemetery in Rosebloom. The family received friends one hour prior to the service on Thursday, Feb. 5, at McKibben and Guinn.
Peggy was born on July 25, 1949, in Kosciusko, the daughter of the late Andrew Doyle McMillon and the late Betty Jean Johnson McMillon. She retired as an operator with BellSouth and later worked as the office manager at Long’s Flowers in Grenada. She enjoyed crochet, sewing and knitting, and spent countless hours crocheting hats for cancer patients and babies, gifting them to various cancer institutes and children’s hospitals.
Peggy was a loving mother and a doting grandmother, who cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren. Above all, she loved the Lord and lived her life guided by faith, kindness and a servant’s heart.
Survivors include, her husband, Edgar McArthur “Mac” Moorman; daughter, Honey Simmons (David) of Duck Hill; son, Eddie Moorman (Carol) of Grenada; sister, Patty Kemp of Kosciusko; brothers: Kenny McMillon (Mary Ruth) of Carthage; Andy McMillon (Linda) of Mendenhall and Anthony McMillon (Jennifer) of Kosciusko; seven grandchildren: Holly Allbritton (Peyton), Mallory Ables (Josh), Victoria Menhal, Morgan Moorman (Sarah Grace), Sophie Moorman, Justin Simmons (Brandy) and Julie Gladish (Bret) and six great grandchildren: Aleigh Klaire Ables, Fisher Ables, Charlie Grace Moorman, Brendan Taylor, Hartley Simmons and Brady Gladish.
