Funeral services were held at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, June 7, 2023, at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service in Grenada for Mr. William Lee Davis, 57, of Grenada, who died on Monday, June 5, at his residence. The Rev. Blake Henson officiated.
Lee was born on June 7, 1965, in Memphis, Tenn., the son of the late Willard and the late Myrtice Craig Davis. He had worked for many years in water tank construction for Caldwell Tanks and most recently at Grenada Stamping. He honorably served our country in the United States Army and attended Temple Baptist Church. In his free time, Lee enjoyed mud riding, fishing and spend-ing time with his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, one sister, Teresa Long, preceded Lee in death.
Survivors include, his wife, Renee Gordon-Davis; his daughters, Amanda Breedlove (Jimmy) of Olive Branch, Ashley Franklin (Mike) of Grenada and Shannon Moore (Josh) of Gore Springs; his son, James Harold Gordon of Grenada; five sisters, Wanda Owens of Oxford, Patty Ayers of Vardaman and Brenda Murdock, Camelia Cunningham and Sandra Buchanan, all of Kenton, Tenn.; his brothers, Buddy Davis (Patema) of Calhoun City and Gary Kent of Wisconsin and nine grand-children, River Franklin, Jackson Moore, Adley Franklin, Madi Franklin, Kaleb Moore, Brooklyn Breedlove, McKayla Bailey, Maggie Knight and Macey Gordon.
Honorary pallbearers were Mike Franklin, Daniel Lee, Matthew Long, Josh Moore, Justin Phelon and Ronnie Tilghman.
