A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 14, 2022, at Christ Community Church for Markeita “Sissy” Cambre, 47, of Grenada, who died on Sunday, May 1, in Grenada. Pastor John Goldwater will officiate.
Ms. Cambre was born on Dec. 10, 1974, in Grenada.
Her grandparents, Audley and Mary Ethel Mayhan, and one brother, Lacie Pass, preceded Ms. Cambre in death.
Survivors include, her sons, Cameron Mayhan and Carson Mayhan, both of Hernando, and Caydan Cambre of Senatobia; her mother, Chester Ann Mayhan Jubran; sister, Angie Mayhan Engle (Kenny) of Grenada; grandson, Rowan Keith Mayhan; three nephews Alex Melton (Lexy) and Tyler Melton, both of Grenada, and Dylan Melton (Shyann) of Coldwater; six great nieces and one great nephew.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Christ Community Church, 2950 Carrollton Rd., Grenada, MS 38901.
Mortimer National Funeral Home of Grenada is in charge of arrangements.
