A time of remembrance was celebrated from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service in Grenada for Mr. Eric James Boatman, 45, of Grenada, who died on Saturday, April 16, in Grenada.
Eric was born on June 8, 1976, in Grenada, the son of Ennis Edward “Sonny” Boatman Jr. and Penny Spurlock Boatman. He had worked for a number of years as a window glazer at Boatman’s Glass Works, alongside his cousin whom he loved like a brother, Shawn Boatman. While Eric’s passing leaves a hole in the hearts of those who knew and loved him, we take comfort in knowing that he is no longer in pain and free from sickness.
His father and grandmother, Mary Billie Boatman, preceded Eric in death.
Survivors include, his son, James Allen Boatman of Grenada; mother, Penny Boatman of Anchorage, Alaska, and half-brother, Aaron Kyle Potter.
