Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 6, 2023, in North Shady Grove Cemetery in Cascilla for Mr. Ronald Lee “Ronnie” Dungan, 68, of Holcomb, who died on Friday, Aug. 4, in Grenada. The Rev. John Goldwater officiated.
Ronnie was born on Feb. 19, 1955, in Tallahatchie County, the son of the late Robert Quinton and the late Dorothy Virginia Coleman Dungan. “Bud,” as he was known to many, spent most of his working life as a millwright. Ronnie also honorably served our country in the United States Army. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing.
In addition to his parents, his brother, Steve Dungan, preceded Ronnie in death.
Survivors include, his wife, Elaine Dungan; daughter, Andrea Edwards (Rodney) of Holcomb; son, Christopher Dungan (Amber) of Grenada; sisters, Fay Worsham (Keith) of Gore Springs and Jennifer Roberson of Grenada and four grandchildren, Drew Edwards, Ryland Edwards, Hayden Dungan and Savannah Grace Dungan.
