Marvin was born on Oct. 15, 1939, in Greenville, the son of the late Charles and the late Fannie Bilsky Dattel. He moved with his family to Grenada at the age of 10 to open Dattel’s, Grenada’s oldest continually running family business. Marvin also honorably served our country in the United States Army Reserve. He was a faithful member of the Hebrew Union Congregation in Greenville. Marvin will be lovingly remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather, who never missed the opportunity to attend his children or grandchildren’s activities. He was blessed with a remarkable gift of making friends and putting those in his presence at ease.
In addition to his parents, two sisters, Janice Levin and Reva Merlin, preceded Marvin in death.
