A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 22, 2023, at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service in Grenada for Mr. Lee Brooks Foreman, 68, of Grenada, who died on Saturday, July 15. Bro. Wayne Fancher will officiate. Family and friends will gather one hour prior to the service on Saturday, July 22, at McKibben and Guinn.
Lee was born on Feb. 25, 1955, at St. Joseph Hospital in Memphis, Tenn., the son of the late Caley Foreman and Jimmie Sides. Growing up in Grenada, Lee was affectionately known to many as “The Paperboy” and would often visit with the families on his route. Later, after working retail in Memphis, Tenn., and starting a family, Lee opened his own shoe store, The Silver Slipper.
After selling shoes, his career led him to work for many companies, in various capacities, all of which involved working with and amongst people, leading to many friendships that span across several states. More notably, Lee worked for Kirk Auto Company for more than 15 years as a salesman in Clarksdale, Greenwood, and then back home in Grenada.
Lee loved his job, the wonderful people he worked for and worked with, but he particularly loved his customers and the friendships he developed throughout his years in sales.
While this all tells little about the life he lived, Lee will be remembered best by his friends and family for his impeccable ability to tell a Tom Brady story, his charismatic personality, his love for his granddaughter and the kindness he displayed towards each person that crossed his exciting path in life.
Survivors include, his daughter, Lindsey Leggett (Jason); granddaughter, Lillian Belle; his twin sister, Debra Tillman (Les); brothers, Caley Foreman (Allyson) and Robert Foreman (Lynn) and a host of nieces and nephews.
